Homecoming
Chestnut Ridge’s Homecoming will be June 28th. The Rev. Julia Alliger will preach. Afterwards stay and join us for a potluck luncheon.
NC UMC Annual Conference
The Annual Conference will be June 17th – 20th. See their site for the agenda and timelines. Heather will be ordained that Saturday!
Safer Sanctuaries Training
This will be held alongside the Clover Garden One Council meeting (May 5th, starting at 5:30pm.) This is necessary to keep our vulnerable populations safe as possible when attending and participating in church sponsored services and activities. And to be compliant with new Safer Sanctuaries policies. If you can’t make this event, you can do the training online. Then print a copy of the certification of completion and return it to Heather or Mackenzie. They will follow up with you.

Community Taco Night!
Thanks to everyone who came out and enjoyed the music of Beer & Hymns and getting great infor from Painting Classes & the Passmore Center, Porch Hillsborough, the Efland Fire Department and Orange County EMS.
